She’s so strong! I feel like this is an attainable body for me. She still looks a little wider in the torso and hips like I am. It’s a nice goal to reach for.

as per Summer’s challenge. I went into my studio for a hot class tonight for the first time in WAY too long (like, months D: ) and it was AMAZING!
The class was really packed, and there were a lot of new faces/newer practitioners. It was weird to be among the more advanced in the class, especially with being out of practice, having a bad back, and such a high body fat percentage (I just always think of yoga as such a fit person practice, at least when it comes to high skill level).
I loosened my back up a lot, had stronger chaturangas than yesterday, held crow for a solid 10 seconds SEVERAL times, AND got into BOTH sides of bird of paradise!
It was just a really, really, REALLY, great practice.
I can feel my arms burning, and I love it.
20 Day yoga challenge! Got my new shorts and I’m ready to go! I started yesterday actually… Anyone want to join me? Here is what I’m looking like currently…no wights or anything for the last 3 weeks, just enjoying the holiday foods and family.I guess it’s more of a dedication then a challenge. I dedicated 2 hours a day to yoga for 20 days. I will be doing vinyasa flow and bikram . I’m doing this for my health (mental, emotional, physical). I will not be doing any weights this next 3 weeks, yoga and a little jogging here and there. The goal for me is not to lose any weight or even to tone up, just to feel healthy! I will do my best not to miss a class and if I do I will do the flow on my own in my home. If anyone wants to join in message me and I can help you locate a studio or find a dvd that works best for what you are intending. Lets get 2012 started right with a mellow and holistic exercise plan. Light and LOVE everyone.
First of all, I LOVE this lady’s blog! She’s always so kind and positive to anyone who asks her questions, and she provides me with so much motivation.
I think this is a wonderful plan! Two hours might be a little much for my schedule, unfortunately, but I’m going to shoot for at least one with a hopeful one hot class per week (more if I can swing it with work).
I had a rough week in terms of exercise, commitment, and meal planning. I got in an emotional funk and couldn’t bring myself to do much of anything. I’m not letting that get the best of me anymore. I don’t want to be under its thumb.
